CrossFit Wycombe Waiver
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the activities and programmes at CrossFit Wycombe and to use the facilities and equipment owned and/or under the control of CrossFit Wycombe, in addition to the payment of any fee or charge, I do hereby waiver, release and forever discharge CrossFit Wycombe from any responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting from my participation in any activities or my use of equipment or facilities in the above mentioned activities (whether at home, at the training studio, outdoors, or at a corporate, commercial, residential or other fitness facility).
I understand and I am aware that strength, flexibility and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, both outside and inside, are potentially hazardous activities. I also understand that exercise and fitness activities involve a risk of injury and even death, and I am voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment and facilities with the knowledge of the dangers involved. I hereby agree to expressly assume all and any risks of injury or death.
I do hereby declare myself physically able and suffering from no condition, impairment, disease or infirmity or other illness (other than those declared on the attached medical questionnaire) that would prevent my participation or use of equipment or facilities except as herein stated. I acknowledge that I have either had a physical examination and have been given my doctors permission to participate, or that I have decided to participate in activity and use of equipment and machinery without the approval of my doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for my participation and activities, and utilisation of equipment and machinery in my activities.
I understand that I am not obliged to perform or participate in any activity that I do not wish to do, and that it is my right to refuse such participation at any time during my training sessions. I understand that should I feel lightheaded, faint, dizzy, nauseated, or experience pain or discomfort, I am to stop the activity and inform my trainer.
I understand that the results of any fitness programme cannot be guaranteed, and my progress depends on my efforts in and outside of the sessions.
I understand that during a training session, my trainer may have to use Touch Training to correct alignment and/ or focus my concentration on a particular muscle area to be targeted. If I feel uncomfortable or experience any type of discomfort with Touch Training, I will immediately request that my trainer discontinue using this technique.
I understand that CrossFit Wycombe may photograph and/or film their client sessions and I agree to allow them to use these pictures, films, and/or likenesses of me for promotional purposes. In the event I choose not to allow the use of the same for said purpose, I agree that I must inform CrossFit Wycombe of this in writing.
I understand that CrossFit Wycombe uses a CCTV camera for monitoring and security purposes.
I understand that the usage of any nutritional supplements is done under my own will.
In addition, CrossFit Wycombe cannot accept any responsibility for any valuables that may be lost, damaged or stolen whilst at CrossFit Wycombe.
CrossFit Wycombe Terms and Conditions January 2025
1. Memberships
1. Term Memberships: Your first month at CrossFit Wycombe is pro-rated; contingent upon when this agreement is initiated relative to the first of each month. Monthly fees are only prorated once, upon initial enrolment with CrossFit Wycombe. All other payments will take place on the 1st of the month.
2. Term Membership Payments: All term memberships and guest fees are collected via card payment from either a debit card or credit card. By providing your debit card or credit card information you allow CrossFit Wycombe to automatically withdraw fees as they come due on the 1st of the month.
3. Membership fees are fixed by CrossFit Wycombe and we reserved the right to change these at any time. Members will be notified (via email or notification in WODBoard) of any changes in the fees at least 30 days prior to the date of the alteration.
4. X10 memberships allow members to book a maximum of 10 classes and 3 open gym sessions per month. This does not include access to book Hyrox simulations however can be purchased at a reduced rate.
5. X15 memberships allow members to book a maximum of 15 classes, 4 open gym sessions and 1 Hyrox simulation per month.
6. CFW Unlimited memberships are subject to a maximum of 4 sessions per day including classes, open gym and Hyrox simulations.
7. Hyrox memberships allow members to book an unlimited amount of Hyrox classes and Hyrox simulations only.
8. Open Gym only memberships are offered purely at the discretion of CrossFit Wycombe and we reserve the right to withdraw these at any time.
9. Off Peak Gym memberships can only book sessions between 10.00 and 12.00, and 3.30 and 4.30 Monday – Friday, 9.30-11.30 Saturday and Sunday, no other times are permitted outside of those qualified above. This does not include access to book Hyrox simulations, however can be purchased at a reduced rate.
2. Foundation Courses
1. Members who are entirely new to CrossFit are required to undergo a foundation course of 2 hours before being allowed to attend CrossFit classes for safety reasons.
2. Purchase of 1-2-1 Foundation course is non-refundable other than within 3 days of purchase. Members must give no less than 24 hours notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, otherwise a late fee of £10 will be charged.
3. New members have three consecutive calendar days (72 hours) after purchasing a Foundation course to cancel without penalty. If the agreement is cancelled within this period CrossFit Wycombe will return to the member within thirty days all amounts paid. If the course is purchased within 72 hours of the course date, no refund will be issued. Intent to cancel must be emailed to info@crossfitwycombe.co.uk.
3. Availability of Facility
1. Members may use the facilities only during scheduled classes, scheduled events or by appointment. Operating hours and current class schedules are listed on our website at www.crossfitwycombe.co.uk. CrossFit Wycombe reserves the right to change operating hours and/or class schedules at its sole discretion without any effect to this Agreement. CrossFit Wycombe endeavours to give members at least 30 days notice with regards to any changes.
2. Limited Availability: CrossFit Wycombe may close its facility for seminars, certifications, maintenance, selected holidays and other hours based on requirements. CrossFit Wycombe may delete, change, discontinue, repair or replace any part or all of the facility without any effect on this Agreement. CrossFit Wycombe endeavours to give members at least 30 days notice with regards to any changes wherever possible.
3. Limited Use: If you know or should know you have a problem that might prevent you from using CrossFit Wycombe (i.e. medical or family emergency, business travel, vacation, etc.) and you sign this agreement; you agree that your membership is limited accordingly. However, because this is your choice, you still must pay your monthly fees in full as if you could use the facility; there will be no carry-over of monthly fees into subsequent months for any time unspent using the facility in a previous month. 4. Late Payment/Declined Credit Card Fees
1. A £5 late payment fee will be due and payable for payments received past the 5th of the month. A declined credit card/debit card will result in a fee of £5. Membership fees must be paid on the first day of the month. Members who are not current will not be allowed to participate in classes after the 5th of the month.
5. Cancellation of Membership by Member
1. A member may cancel their membership at any time with no less than 30 days’ notice. Please be reminded that partial months are not permitted. If cancellation is made on or after the 2nd of any month, then a full payment will still be due the following month on the 1st. There are no refunds for membership fees.
2. A member may upgrade their membership at any point by emailing the staff at info@crossfitwycombe.co.uk, and their membership will take effect immediately, or as requested by the member. A member may downgrade their membership with no less than 30 days written notice, downgrade will take effect on the first date of the next billing cycle after the first 30 day notice period.
6. Class Bookings
1. Members must book into classes or open gym using Wodboard. Members are required to cancel any class/open gym they are booked into no less than 2 hours before the start, or before 8pm the previous evening for morning classes. If a member cancels within this period or does not attend for any reasons whatsoever they will forfeit the session.
7. Class Attendances
1. If a member has booked a class/open gym but does not attend then the coach will apply a ‘no show’ to the system and the member will lose that session as part of their monthly allowance.
8. Lost Property 1. CrossFit Wycombe assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found articles not claimed after 30 days will be donated to charity or thrown away.
9. Smoking, Alcohol, Food and Drink
1. No smoking is allowed in any part of the facility. Members should not use the facilities whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Food or drink may be taken into the facilities if it is in a non-breakable, enclosed container. Only food and drink purchased from Crossfit Wycombe may be heated and/or refrigerated on site.
10. Supervision of children
1. Members must be 16 years of age or older unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times, or enrolled in our Youngstars program where directly under the immediate supervision of a Crossfit Wycombe member of the coaching staff.

11. Conduct
1. CrossFit Wycombe is committed to the health, safety, welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent or illegal behaviour. CrossFit Wycombe has the right to judge behaviour and respond accordingly. This right included, but is not limited to, termination of membership without refund of any member engaging in unacceptable behaviour.
12. Damages
1. Members shall pay for any damage to CrossFit Wycombe property which results from the wilful or negligent conduct of member, member’s guest or dependent children.
13. Rules and/or Regulations
1. Members who do not observe CrossFit Wycombe rules and regulations or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate membership of anyone who refuses to observe any of CrossFit Wycombe’s rules or regulations. Not all rules and regulations are listed in this agreement. CrossFit Wycombe reserves the right to add, change or remove rules, conditions of memberships, opening and closing hours, and all services and facilities offered by CrossFit Wycombe.
14. Discounts
1. Blue Light discount is available to serving service personnel only– this includes: NHS, Armed forces, Armed forces veterans (ex-serving), Emergency services, Social Care, Teachers and other public sector workers . To qualify for the discount, you will need to show proof of your involvement such as a valid MOD 90 or blue light card.
2. Family discount at a rate of 10%, is available to any people registered under the same household. This applies to couples and families. To qualify for the discount, you will need to show proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within 3 months of application.
15. Miscellaneous
1. These terms and conditions supersede any prior written or oral agreements between them concerning the subject matter of this agreement. The provisions of this may be waived, altered, amended or repealed, in whole or in part, only upon prior written consent of all parties.
