Applicable to Afewee Boxing & Football Academy, registered as 'Afewee Training Centre'.
By signing to this waiver agreement, the participant agrees to the following terms:
1) The participant agrees that their participation at Afewee Training Centre, including personal training, is voluntary. Additionally, the participant agrees to assume any risk that is associated with participating in the event and releases Afewee Training Centre from any and all claims of damage and loss that may be as a result of participation. The release is without limitation and includes the personal injury fees, attorney’s fees and any other losses that might occur to the participant.
2) The participant agrees to hold Afewee Training Centre harmless against all claims of damage and loss including damage to Afewee Training Centre property caused by the participant.
3) The participant hereby warrants that they are physically fit and able to participate in Afewee boxing and/or football sessions and personal training without any undue risk.
4) Afewee Training Centre maintains that the right to refuse the participation in boxing and/or football if they foresee that participation would risk damage to any party.
5) This waiver agreement is governed by the laws of the UK. Any legal claims or lawsuits related to the precipitants in Afewee Training Centre shall take place in courts located in London, UK.
6) The participant agrees that this waiver agreement shall remain in full force and take effect without change and that participation in Afewee Training Centre is pursuit to the terms of the agreement.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
This agreement commences on the date you begin register with us. By doing so, you agree to these terms and conditions, as well as our gym rules and codes of conduct.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
• On joining Afewee Boxing Gym & Football Academy you must register, agree to the waiver and accept our T&C’s via our booking system – WodBoard
• This can be done either via the WodBoard app or our website www.afewee.org.uk.
• You are responsible for keeping your account up to date at all times.
• Afewee operates a self-service membership management system via ‘WodBoard’.
• You are responsible for making changes to your membership using your WodBoard account.
• We highly recommend you download the ‘WodBoard’ mobile app and agree to push notifications so that you kept upto date and can easily manage your account and book onto future sessions.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP TERMS
• You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges set out for the type of membership you have purchased.
• Membership fees are taken by direct debit each month upon initial sign up
• Members may be denied access to the Gym whilst any Membership Fees or other sums due remain outstanding.
• Once memberships are purchased, they can be paused or cancelled anytime via your WodBoard account or by emailing info@afewee.org.uk.
• Memberships are non-refundable, neither part refundable, once cancelled or paused.
BOOKING PROCESS
• You must book and pay for the session/s you want to attend each week via your WodBoard account or via our website.
• All sessions are advertised on a first come first served basis and even members holding memberships must pre-book sessions.
• You can book sessions up to 28 days in advance.
• If you do not book and pay prior to attending, you may be refused entry to the class, especially if we are at full capacity.
CANCELLING SESSIONS
• Please be courteous to other users and cancel sessions you have booked but cannot attend.
• You must cancel your session 6 hours before it is due to start if you do not want to lose the session.
• Sessions cancelled less than 6 hours before they are due to start will be deemed ‘late cancellations’ and lost.
• It is the customers responsibility to attend the scheduled session/s. Any missed session/s or no shows are non-refundable.
• Customers are permitted to request to carry over a session if they enquire at least 6 hours in advance. This session must be completed within 1 calendar month of the initial request.
LATE ARRIVAL
• If you are more than 15 minutes late to a session, you may be refused entry and your session will be lost.
WAITING LISTS
• If you are on the waiting list due to full capacity of a class, you will be notified if a slot becomes available.
• The offer is time limited, and you must therefore monitor your notifications and accept this slot to secure your place.
• If you do not accept your place within the time limit, it will be offered to the next person on the list.
PRICE INCREASES
• Memberships and session fees will be subject to an annual change to reflect inflation and may increase.
• Members will be notified ahead of time regarding any potential increases to their membership or class fees.
PERSONAL TRAINERS
• All of our trainers are self-employed individuals who use our space to carry out personal training activities with our members or their own private clients.
• Afewee vet each trainer to ensure they hold the relevant credentials to carry out personal training.
• The personal trainer may enter into their own arrangement with the member/private client in regards to T&C’s and scheduling of sessions.
• Each personal trainer sets their own fees which is agreed with the member/client beforehand.
• Each personal trainer holds their own private insurance and Afewee bear no liability in regards to any potential injury, risk or damage to the client/member.
• Afewee Boxing Gym may charge a ‘site fee’ to the client for use of the space.
KIDS POLICIES (UNDER 18)
• All kids under 18 must be registered by a parent/guardian.
• The account should be set up in the CHILDS name using parent email and number as a point of contact.
• Emergency contact details and the waiver form must also be completed before the child attends their first session.
• All medical info must be declared on their account by the parent/guardian prior to attending a session.
• Kids should be collected by a parent or guardian upon class end time.
• Should you be running late to collect your child you must inform us immediately by contacting gym on 07300 797733.
• All Kids must adhere to the rules and codes of conduct when in a session. If any child continually breaks the rules, or is repeatedly disruptive in class, staff will notify parents and membership may be discontinued.
DATA PROTECTION
• Afewee will not share Members’ personal data with any third parties for any reasons without the prior consent of the Member concerned.
• Such data will only be collected, processed and held in accordance with our rights and obligations arising under the provisions and principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
